School Nurse
The Public Health Nurse visits Holy Cross Catholic School on Mondays and Wednesdays each week of the school term from 9.30am – 11am. Children may be seen during this time. Her role is to:
- Identify and treat sore throats to prevent rheumatic fever.
- Identify and manage skin infections.
- Identify other health needs such as hearing, vision or child protection concerns.
