2013 has been a very successful year in sports for Holy Cross School, with our sports teams winning top places in the St Anne’s Shield competition, Rippa rugby, netball and soccer.
It was a beautiful day on Saturday morning because we got to go to my school fair. We drove there as fast as we could so we could not miss the fun. First we need everything before we go to the fair. Then we tried to find a carpark, but we couldn’t because Holy Cross people were all coming. So we decided to park on the street because some people were parking at there were not a lot of cars. When we went inside mu school fair there were alot of people at the school fair and there was a lot of rubbish around our school. next we looked for activities that we could do. The first activity was going to the hall and looking at the beautiful cakes and beautiful baking. Our second activity was playing around wheel. Our third activity was playing on the playground. Then we went and bought some food and it was delicious. I felt happy about going to the school fair.

Mrs Meredith: “What a lovely recount Sina you have used lot of words you know and have tried lots of new words”.
On Saturday I went with my Mum and Nana to Holy Cross School Fair to participate for raising money for the school. First we went to look a the cakes. When we got in I saw lots of Beautiful cakes sitting there. We made a banana cake. We were trying to spot our cake in the stall, but there was nothing so instead we bought another cake, but with passion fruit icing. Next we went to buy candyfloss. When i ate it I though I was eating a pink, sweet cloud. Then we went to the mystery item. When I opened the item It said you have won. I gave it to the teacher, and I won a prize! After that I bought a slushy from Mrs Luca. I told her to pour colours green and red. lastly we walked to buy some Samoan food. I asked the lady to make chop suey. My favourite part about the fair was buying the slushies.

Mrs Roberson: What a super recount Alexander, you have added great detail to your recount.
On Saturday me and Ashley and Mum and my cousin went to the fair. There was a big castle with a big slide. I went Zoom like 70110 miles away and went underwater, you know, not for real just fake. There was an octopus a hole an underwater pinball course so I slide and it leads to the underwater pinball course the exit. I went to the Egyptian castle I ran so fast but I went back. I had lots of fun.
