Room 2 walked to the Papatoetoe Museum and learnt many things about how New Zealanders remember the men and women who died during in wartime. We learnt about how Kiwis remember these men and women today after so many years. Did you know that the Carruth family use to live in a house where Youthline is now? Ethelwyn Carruth was a nurse who served on the hospital ship Marama during WW1.
We made poppies, we looked at ANZAC artifacts and we visited the museum to locate treasures.
