Monday was the first day that the Harinui Syndicate has been studying geometry. We decided to name and describe different shapes.
How many sides does it have? How many corners? What is it’s special name?
Then we went outside and Mrs Bucheler handed each of us a piece of chalk. The challenge was to draw a robot using geometric shapes. We used mostly circles, ovals, squares, rectangles and triangles.
We made sure we had a head, eyes, mouth, body, arms, hands, legs and feet. One person even made a robot dog!
