Wow – what a busy week the Aroha Syndicate have had! As well as a visit from one of our local Police Officers, Constable Dimitrious, we also got to meet some other Police Officers with very special jobs. They are part of the dog unit and we got to meet them and one of their dogs – Case. We learnt why Police dogs are so special and the kinds of things they do to help the Police.
Then one of the Police Officers put on a padded sleeve and pretended to be run away from the Case. It was amazing how fast Case chased him down and used his 42 sharp teeth to grab onto the sleeve. Case didn’t let go!!!
After all this excitement, we all took a turn to say hello to Case.
