We were all sitting eating our morning tea! Our lunch boxes were still pretty full. Mrs de Koning said, “What a lot of lovely, healthy lunches. Let me take some photos!”
We remembered we are a ‘water’ school. We all bring a drink of water to school, and can keep it in class to have a sip when we are thirsty if we like.
We like to eat sandwiches, wraps, rice, noodles. We like vegetable sticks like cucumber, celery and carrot. We like raisins, nuts and cheese cubes. We like a muffin or a cookie – but just one! We like a boiled egg or sushi. We like some fruit too.
Mrs de Koning reminded us we should try to not have too many prepackaged items like chips, crackers or biscuits.
We are very good at remembering we do not have fruit straps or nuggets as they are treat foods. We can eat them at home!
