Today Monday 22 August the Harinui Syndicate led the whole school assembly. We had prepared the assembly the week before, deciding which of the things we had been learning about that we wanted to share. We wrote the sentences to read with Mrs O’Grady’s help. Everyone took a copy of them home to practise the readings on the weekend.
Adrienne read the introduction and June-maria lead the singing of our prayer – E Tonu Nga Mea.
We also showed how we were able to count to 100 by 10s! We are getting great at skip counting.
We sang a lovely song we learned during our Re unit – Church : Belonging.
After Aidan’s introduction we began to sing!
more to follow!
