We had a slender lead until Great Britain had two yellow cards. Then we ran away with the game. We scored heaps of tries and won easily. I could hear the crowd excited because we have made the final. I saw my dad in the crowd he looked very proud of me. I went up to the stands to talk to him. He said he was so proud of me as he hugged me strongly. We only have a four hour break, until the final. We are going to play Australia. I am starting to get nervous, they have been playing extremely well and haven’t defeated them since February last year!
It’s finally game time. We ran out to the field. The noise was incredible! It was so loud, I started to worry I wouldn’t hear my teammates. We kicked off, they knocked it on we got the ball back. We kept passing the ball but their defence was too strong! The Australians were making heroic tackles. We defended well and we forced an error. We got the ball back we spread the ball out to Kayla, she stepped through a defender and then fended and burst to the tryline and scored in the corner.
