On the last Thursday of Term 2 the Harinui Syndicate went for a trip to Barry Curtis Park. We used the “Field of Dreams’ bus and the two school vans!
First of all we enjoyed playing on the playground. It was a great adventure playground, with swings adn climbing frames, forts and huts. We used our imaginations and challenged ourselves to try everything!
It was fun climbing, swinging, running and jumping around the park! Everyone had fun. We were calling to our friends, talking so much and also shouting excitedly!
Everyone enjoyed playing together. We took turns and supported each other. It was a great day! We enjoyed games of pretend and playing with all our friends.
Everyone was so busy having fun, and moving around so actively we had no time to feel cold. We wore our fluro vests which made it easy for us to see each other! We also enjoyed wearing mufti that day.
Imaginative play was a big part of the good times. We made up stories and games with each other. We talked to each other about our play ideas……we were clever and happy!
Next we went for a long walk along many of the paths around the park. We saw many beautiful things – trees, grasses, birds, streams and lots and lots of grass! We walked and walked and walked. Half way around we found an area of decks adn platforms where we sat, played and ran.
