Over the last few weeks we have been learning about the Holy Spirit. We have read about it in the Bible and watched a movie clip about it on YouTube too. We talked about it and did some role play and actions to go with the story.
We talked about things that reminded us of the Holy Spirit. We blew up balloons to demonstrate how the Holy Spirit fills up our lives and makes us special happy people.
We made windmills from paper, we understood that although we can not see the wind we can see the things it can do. The wind is invisible but powerful like the Holy Spirit.
We also completed some pages in our RE workbooks. Everyone read the words inside the body shape and talked about what they mean. We all drew the face on the body and coloured in the clothes.
On Wednesday we went out onto the field and Mrs de Koning blew some bubbles into the air. We noticed that the wind moved the bubbles around and flew all over the place. We talked about how this was like the Holy Spirit! It was great fun. We stood inn a big circle so we didn’t bump into each other and tried to catch and pop the bubbles.
