Next week is Holy Cross Week at Holy Cross School. It is also Social Justice Week and each syndicate will be looking at a theme around social justice. On Monday morning their will be a special liturgy in the hall to start Holy Cross Week. At the end of the week we will be having a full school Mass.
The Arohanui Syndicate will be looking at Solidarity. We will be looking at how did Jesus showed Solidarity and how we can relate this to our lives today. Below is a little bit about Solidarity:
- We belong to one big human family-one whanau. We need to support each other, no matter where we live in the world so that everyone can live peaceful, happy and useful lives.
- Scripture references: Matt 10: 40-42, Eph: 3: 14-21 and Ps 145: 14-20

On Thursday morning in the hall each syndicate will present what they have learnt about their individual themes and parents are more than welcome to attend this. Following this the school will be presenting our Annual School Dance display. Each class will have prepared a 2-3min dance.
