A huge thank you to the parents who attended the recent Writing Workshop on Wednesday 14 June. As discussed, we have posted some links so that you can support your child’s writing at home.
Feedback from the workshops has been very positive.
Our next workshop is Thursday 19 June, 6pm in the staffroom.
Use the 5 Ws – Who – What – Where – When – Why AND use How to encourage interesting oral language. Encourage your child to use these prompts also.
Ask them what their goal is in writing and how they plan to achieve it. How will they know if they have achieved it?
Use a range of interesting websites to stimulate your child’s interest in writing.
