Māori Whānau Hui on Monday 17th August 2026
Mon Aug 10 11:05amKia ora e te whānau,
We warmly invite you and your whānau to join us for our upcoming Māori Whānau Hui on Monday 17th August 2026 at 6:00pm in the School Staffroom.
This hui is another opportunity for us to come together as whānau, to share whakaaro, kōrero and ideas, and to continue strengthening the important connection between our kura and our Māori whānau.
Your voice, your whakaaro and your presence are important to us. We would love to have you join us as we kōrero about some of the exciting kaupapa happening within our kura, share what is coming up, and provide an opportunity for our whānau to contribute their whakaaro and kōrero.
Whether you have attended one of our hui before or this will be your first time joining us, nau mai, haere mai — you are warmly welcome. ❤️
We look forward to spending this time together, strengthening our whanaungatanga, sharing kōrero and continuing to work together for our tamariki and our kura.
He waka eke noa — we are all in this together.
Nāku iti nei,
Gemma
Attendance matters … Everyday counts!
Sun Aug 09 07:12pmAttendance matters … Everyday counts!
A reminder that everyday of school counts! It is our goal to have everyone attending school at least 90% of the school term. That means a student can only have a maximum of 4 days away this term.
Last week, every year level was above 90% attendance. And we had our best day of attendance for the whole school year!
Well done to the top 3 Year levels for this term so far…
1st – Year 8 – 93.9%
2nd – Year 3 – 93.74%
3rd – Year 7 – 93.67%
Which year levels can push into the top 3? 💙🤍❤️
